Re: My mother has been living in an apartment that has an illegal studio apartment connected to it, the building plans state that the second floor has 2 units, but there is 3. The problem we are having is that we are paying for the utilities of the illegally added studio apartment, I've spoken and went to court for this and the landlord lied to the judge and told him were talking about the basement
