Re: The commercial space below our apartment is being leased to a business that hosts parties. There is music being played loud enough to shake the floors and walls as well as large gatherings of people who stand outside on the sidewalk after the party ends. We were not made aware of this before moving in. We looked up the building codes for this building and learned it is zoned for "storage, retail store and office" which means this is an illegal use of this commercial storefront space. The last party took place on 4/17/21. Management company said they issued the tenant a cease and desist letter (I have a copy I can provide) prior to this party but the parties are still happening.
