| Re: This longtime website for housing, The Listings Project https://www.listingsproject.com has been advertising and hosting listings for New Yorkers doing short-term rentals with daily rates. This has been ongoing for some time now on their site. They are taking away rentals and sublets that could provide actual affordable short or long term housing for someone. Airbnb is mostly not allowed here beacuse of this, and by them allowing people to adverstise their apartment with a daily rate (sometimes weekly) they are essentially operating an Airbnb from their platform. They continue to list daily rentals in NYC. These are not sublets but these are people looking to make a profit on their apartment by charging high daily rates that are much more than the monthly rent would be. | ||||||
