| Re: The smell of exhaust (almost like car exhaust) is extremely strong just outside one of my tenant s apartment. They live on the 3rd floor and the smell smacks ?her? in the face whenever ?she? opens her windows or tries to use their balcony . It smells like a generator is either venting directly in their direction, or like an existing neighboring HVAC is clogged or leaking. Due to the positioning and height of the surrounding buildings, the 1st and 2nd floors don t get the smell as much because they re below the rooflines of neighboring buildings. On the other hand, t s not surprising the 3rd floor smells it most acutely as they re positioned right at the same level as the neighboring roofs where HVAC, electrical and generator equipment is located. This is interfering with the habitability of their apartment and their quality of life. They have been experiencing this problem for a couple of weeks with tonight being most acute. | ||||||
