Overview for Complaint #:1712349 = CLOSED
Complaint at:  411 WEST 48 STREET BIN: 1026597    Borough: MANHATTAN    ZIP: 10036
Re:  The tenant at 411 West 48th Street, Apt 2RW, New York, NY 10036 is actively engaging in illegal short-term rental activity in violation of the NYC Multiple Dwelling Law, Local Law 18, and the building s lease agreement. The building is on the OSE Prohibited Buildings List, which prohibits any short-term occupancy. Management has confirmed that the tenant has listed the unit on short-term rental platforms (such as Airbnb or similar services) and is hosting transient guests. A Three-Day Notice to Cure has already been issued to the tenant due to verified violations. The illegal activity presents safety concerns, exposes ownership to significant fines, and violates City regulations. We request an OSE inspection and enforcement action to ensure compliance and to stop ongoing short-term rental use. All supporting documentation, including the Notice to Cure and any screenshots/links, can be provided upon request.
