Re:  Subject: Illegal Short-Term Rental Unlicensed Korean Guesthouse Location: 14c, 1249 park avenue Hello, I would like to report what appears to be an illegal short-term rental operating in a residential apartment building. I booked a room through a travel platform (MyRealTrip) and stayed at the unit from May 25 to May 27, 2025. I had originally booked the accommodation until June 1, 2025, but the host (Korean couple/ guessing the wife s first name is Hee Yeon) repeatedly mentioned that the guesthouse is operating illegally and asked me to be cautious when speaking with the building security guard. After realizing the place was not legally permitted for short-term rental, I left the apartment and moved to Hyatt Grand Central Terminal Hotel for the remainder of my stay. I had no prior knowledge that the property was being operated illegally. I believe the operator is running a business without the required permits, which may also violate local housing and fire safety codes. Please investigate this matter. Thank you.
